This morning's race was for the
NOCC to raise money and awareness for Ovarian Cancer. The course was mostly all flat with one big hill. It started getting really dark and cloudy as we lined up to start the race and wound up raining most of the time we ran. It was a good run over all. I wound up setting a new PR :) I was SO excited and couldn't stop smiling for quite a while.
Time: 31:23 - 1:05 better than my previous record!
Placed 4th in my division (there were 13 in the division)
Race for the cure is in two weeks, so I hope to beat my time from today. I'd like to go sub 30 and eventually be right around 25. I wonder if I can do it?
Congrats! :) I am sure you can do anything if you practice and train and really just the practicing thing! :)
